Nora Vissers

We are facing a challenging period filled with uncertainties and budget cuts. While this situation affects everyone—both academic and support staff—our junior colleagues are particularly vulnerable. It is essential that they are not overlooked.

In complex decision-making, a careful consideration of interests is crucial, supported by transparency and clear communication. If elected to the faculty council, I will seek to ensure that all voices are heard and contribute constructively to the decision-making process.

My focus remains on safeguarding the core of our faculty: excellent education and high-quality research.

I am a 50/50 lecturer-PhD candidate in the Public Law department. Through various perspectives—as a student, lecturer, and PhD candidate—I have come to know and appreciate our faculty. I am currently in the third year of my six-year PhD trajectory. Previously, I was a lecturer in the International and European Law department.
