Hey, I'm Kat, a 2nd year European Public Health student and I want to make the UM experience as positive as possible for everyone! I´m planning to do this by bringing up:

1) Challenging the exam schedule- student wellbeing should be a number 1 priority.

2) Promoting equity and accessibility- providing real, NECESSARY support and making the university a safe space for everyone and will build bridges between Dutch and international students.

3) Raising awareness for and improving the sexual safety programme- clear reporting & consequences.

Hi! I’m Clara, a public health student passionate about inclusion, accessibility, and creating a healthier study environment. I’m running for Faculty Council to push for:

1. Fairer Internships and Exchange Access
FHML offers fewer opportunities than other faculties. That needs to change.

2. Smarter, Inclusive Tutoring
Train better tutors and hire Master's or senior Bachelor students. They get work experience, and you get support that helps. Real inclusion starts here.

3. Mental Health Matters
Stop resits during holidays, demand clear exam prep, and allow students to aim higher than just passing. We need a system that supports well-being, not burnout.

Hello! My name is Emilia, I study Regenerative Medicine and Technology at FHML. I am determined to create lasting change at FHML, for the benefit of students from all backgrounds.

  1. Increase availability of Dutch language courses to international students                          Integrating into Dutch culture comes with becoming more comfortable with the language as well. 

  2. Improve mental health awareness and facilities within FHML                                             Mental health facilities should be more easily accessible, especially for those in urgent need of help. 

  3. Increase minor exchange programs to FHML students

  • Lower food prices in all Mensas, with sustainability and inclusivity considerations implemented.
  • More minor options within FHML and re-evaluation of partner university collaborations.
  • Free Dutch-learning courses up to B2 level and discounted language learning certificates with revisited re-examination criteria.

  1.  Foster Faculty's global ethos through expanded diversity and internationalization initiatives.
     
  2. Create a platform for students to post and respond to audited housing advertisements.

  3. Provide pre-recordings to enhance student preparedness and facilitate focused inquiries during in-person sessions.
