1. Push for a more affordable student life, from better food options to accessible housing and language courses

• Greener Randwyck and More Student Spaces: UM needs more social, collaborative, and green spaces to catch up to other Dutch universities, with extended opening hours that fit students’ schedules

I am Maryam, a first-year MSP student! I would really appreciate it if you would vote for me. These are my priorities:

1. Internationalization: Dutch courses up to and including B2 level must become more accessible, and more scholarships must become available for international students outside the EU. I want to establish a scholarship center! We should do better regarding human rights.

2. Affordability: Students must receive more support in finding affordable and livable housing.

3. Clear and comprehensive rules: Regulations regarding the use of AI must be concise, and students must be given fair opportunities to present evidence and appeal.

Hey, I'm glad you're taking the time to vote and help improve our university! I'll be honest, I was definitely sweet talked into running for these elections. So I'll keep it simple: I am not here with big promises about revolutionizing UM.
