NovUM represents a forward-looking, inclusive approach to student representation within SBE. We recognise that business education is evolving rapidly, and SBE must equip students not only with theory, but with the practical and digital skills required in today’s labour market.
Future-proof education: We advocate for the early integration of generative AI, advanced Excel, and data analysis into the curriculum. Students should graduate not only understanding concepts, but knowing how to apply them using the tools that define modern business practice.
Real-life experience: Education should extend beyond lecture halls. We support stronger collaboration between SBE and the corporate world to create more opportunities for real case work, workshops, and hands-on learning accessible to all students—not just a select few.
Equal career opportunities: Access to internships, networking, and career development remains uneven. We push for a transparent and centralised system that ensures all students have equal visibility on opportunities, deadlines, and required skills, complemented by smaller, high-quality networking initiatives.
At SBE, your development should not depend on prior networks or technical background. We work to ensure that every student is equipped, supported, and prepared to succeed—both during their studies and beyond.
