Anna Gudimova

Hello everyone! My name is Anna Gudimova and I am a double bachelor’s student in Biomedical Sciences and European Public Health. Over the past years, I have been actively involved in student representation and educational governance within FHML, working to ensure that students’ voices are heard and translated into meaningful improvements. Currently, I serve as Vice-Chair of the Educational Programme Committee and President of the Student Council for Health & Life Sciences. Through these roles, I collaborate with students, faculty members, and university leadership on topics such as education quality, student wellbeing, and inclusive decision-making.

As your representative, I will focus on three key priorities:

• Student-centered education: ensuring that educational innovation, teaching quality, and assessment policies truly support student learning.
• Wellbeing and community: strengthening initiatives that promote mental health, belonging, and connection across our diverse student body.
• Strong collaboration between university and hospital: supporting the ongoing integration between Maastricht University and MUMC+ to ensure that education, research, and clinical practice remain closely connected and beneficial for students.

Taking everything into consideration, Maastricht University is built on collaboration, critical thinking, and student engagement. As your representative, I will work to ensure that student perspectives remain central to the university’s development and future decisions. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, I will do my best to ensure that the student voice is heard and meaningfully represented in the decisions that shape our university. Lets go the extra mile together!
